For 30 years, Mike has used his writing skills and deep automotive knowledge to broaden CR’s reporting. He regularly writes and edits monthly Road Test reports, contributes evaluations and scoring for all tested cars, participates in electric vehicle range testing, and is a regular on CR’s “Talking Cars” podcast. And get this: He has bought nearly 170 tested cars over the past 23 years!
Experience and Education
Before joining CR, Mike spent time near Detroit, first writing for Automobile Magazine, and then joining the public relations firm Campbell & Company to handle the North American International Auto Show account, and various projects for Ford. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Culture and English from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
